More than 1.77 million kg of rice to support Da Nang students

Da Nang - Da Nang City People's Committee has just decided to allocate more than 1.77 million kg of national reserve rice to promptly support students in difficult circumstances.

On August 22, information from Da Nang City People's Committee, this locality has issued a document on receiving and allocating rice to support students in the first semester of the 2026 - 2027 school year.

According to the Decision, the city will receive and allocate a total of 1,772,745 kg of rice from the national reserve to support students.

For the rice source supported under Decree No. 66/2025/ND-CP, the total allocated volume is more than 1.41 million kg and is deployed in 2 phases. In which, phase 1 received and allocated more than 548 thousand kg, supported for 2 months, rice delivery time is no later than September 10th. Phase 2 received and allocated more than 868 thousand kg, supported for 3 months, completed delivery no later than November 10th.

For the rice source received under Decree No. 188/2026/ND-CP, the total support volume is more than 355 thousand kg, also divided into 2 delivery phases. Phase 1 allocates more than 145 thousand kg, supported for 2 months, delivery deadline no later than September 10th. Phase 2 receives and distributes more than 210 thousand kg, supported for 3 months, completion deadline no later than November 10th.

The distribution of rice support before the new school year aims to help students in difficult circumstances feel secure in going to school, contributing to ensuring social security and improving the quality of education in the city.
