Lang Son Provincial People's Committee approved the enrollment plan for 4,705 students into primary and secondary boarding schools in 4 border communes in the 2026-2027 school year.
The enrollment plan applies to boarding primary and secondary schools in Kien Moc, Khuat Xa, Mau Son and Quoc Khanh communes.
The total enrollment quota is 4,705 students, arranged in 138 classes. Of which, 3,611 students are enrolled as boarding students, eating and staying at the school; 1,094 students as semi-boarding students at noon.
Mau Son Primary and Secondary Boarding School has the highest quota with 1,260 students, including 871 boarding quotas and 389 semi-boarding quotas. Khuat Xa School enrolls 1,230 students, including 840 boarding students and 390 semi-boarding students.
Quoc Khanh School enrolls 1,190 students, mainly boarding students with 1,125 quotas. Kien Moc School enrolls 1,025 students, including 775 boarding quotas and 250 semi-boarding quotas.
At the primary level, 4 schools enroll 1,845 students. The secondary level has 2,860 quotas, of which the majority are boarding students.
For Quoc Khanh School alone, all 790 secondary school students are arranged as boarding students, with no midday semi-boarding quota.
The enrollment subjects are students of the prescribed age, permanently residing in the border commune where the school is headquartered or adjacent border communes.
Children of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces working in border communes are also eligible to register for the recruitment.
In case the number of applications exceeds the target, priority consideration is given to students with more difficult family circumstances, residing in more difficult areas, more difficult travel conditions and needing boarding.
Targets for children of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces working in border communes do not exceed 10% of the total targets of each school.
