This is the latest development related to the case reported by Lao Dong Newspaper through the article: "Verifying information that candidates used phones and cheat sheets but were not recorded".
According to the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province, the verification results show that the reflection on candidates violating the Regulations of the 2026 High School Graduation Exam at exam room No. 0577, Ngo Gia Tu Exam Point is true.
This candidate was discovered carrying a phone into the exam room during the elective exam session (first subject). Through verification, the candidate did not use materials (paper cheat sheets).
Based on current regulations, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province has decided to cancel the results of all exam papers of violating candidates at exam room No. 0577, Ngo Gia Tu exam site, 2026 High School Graduation Exam.
The reason for canceling the exam results is to handle candidates who violate the Exam Regulations according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 57 of Circular No. 24/2024/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Regarding individuals related to the exam supervision work at Ngo Gia Tu Exam Point, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province said that it is continuing to coordinate with functional agencies to verify and handle according to the Exam Regulations and legal regulations.
The 2026 high school graduation exam at 52 exam sites in Khanh Hoa province has just ended, and is assessed to be taking place safely and seriously.
According to a report by the education sector, the whole province recorded 3 cases of candidates violating exam regulations and being suspended from the exam for bringing phones into the exam room.
In addition, there were 2 candidates proposed for special graduation consideration. Among them, one candidate at the exam site of Dang Chi Thanh Secondary and High School (Ca Na commune) fell and broke his arm on the way to the exam site; another candidate fainted in front of the gate of the Thai Nguyen Secondary School exam site (Nha Trang ward).
