At the meeting, delegates, teachers and students reviewed the traditional history of Vietnamese Teachers' Day; enjoyed performances by officers, soldiers and students; and listened to congratulations from the leaders and commanders of the Brigade sent to teachers on the front lines of the Fatherland.
Over the years, school teachers in communes and towns of Truong Sa district have always strived and devoted themselves to teaching students on remote islands.
This is clearly demonstrated in the school's teaching and learning results, thereby making a very important contribution to the country's educational cause.
Teacher Cao Van Truyen, a teacher at Truong Sa Town Primary School, said he volunteered to write an application to work on the island and always felt very honored and proud when he was trusted with the responsibility of teaching and working at Truong Sa Town Primary School.
"With the attention of all levels, sectors, authorities, people and forces stationed on the island, we feel that we have to make more efforts in teaching so that the teaching and learning results of the school will be better and better" - Mr. Truyen confided.
On this occasion, the authorities and forces on duty in communes and towns of Truong Sa district congratulated and presented teachers with fresh bouquets of flowers.
