For the 2 working shifts (8am to 10am and 2pm to 4pm) on November 4, the traffic police force in 30/34 localities (except for 4 localities that are experiencing rain and flooding, including: Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue City, Da Nang that are not implemented) invited representatives of the Board of Directors of schools to conduct a general inspection of 5,591 parking lots 3,5992 parking lots in the school, 1,599 parking lots around the school gate area).
The inspection results showed that the number of students who were not qualified to drive vehicles to school: 48,059 cases (sold at the school's parking lot: 43,988 cases; sent at the parking lot of people around the school: 4,071 cases).
Number of cases of hiding weapons in vehicles 54 cases (31 cases of vehicle parking lots; 23 cases of parking lots around the school).
Number of cases of using helmets that do not meet standards: 22,758 cases (19,717 cases of parking lots in schools; 3,041 cases of parking lots around schools).
Number of cases where parents are invited to report violations and request signing a commitment not to hand over vehicles to students: 45,459 cases.
The traffic police force has also required 11,905 schools to comply with their commitment not to keep motorbikes and mopeds for students who are not qualified to drive motorbikes and mopeds.
