HCMC assigns Vingroup to establish a sea-crossing road project connecting Can Gio and Vung Tau
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just approved the proposal of the Department of Finance and related departments and branches, assigning Vingroup Corporation to study and prepare a Report on the investment proposal for the project to build a sea-crossing road connecting Can Gio with Ba Ria - Vung Tau, and submit it to competent authorities for consideration, appraisal and approval according to the provisions of the Law on Investment under the public-private partnership (PPP Law) and current legal regulations.

Vingroup will balance its own budget (not using the City budget) to research and prepare a Report on investment policy proposals. The deadline for completing the dossier is 12 months from the date of issuance of the document. See more...
HCMC mobilizes people to change their paper driving licenses to PET cards
On November 4, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC08) said that up to now, more than 70% of driving license data has been cleaned. The police force of wards and communes has mobilized and supported people to convert more than 5,000 paper driving licenses to PET cards. About 2,000 records with inconsistent data are continuing to be verified.
During the implementation process, the commune-level police go to each residential area to collect information, compare records, instruct people to declare samples and supplement necessary documents.
In case the driving license still has data on the system, people will be invited to the local police headquarters to issue a new one immediately.
