On the morning of July 2nd, nearly 4,900 candidates in Lam Dong province entered the first exam of the 10th grade specialized high school entrance exam for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
The exam is organized at 6 exam sites including: Nguyen Du Secondary School (Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat), Nguyen Du High School (Ward 2 Bao Loc), Tran Hung Dao Specialized High School, Phan Boi Chau High School (Phu Thuy ward), Chu Van An High School (Bac Gia Nghia ward) and Nguyen Chi Thanh Specialized High School (Nam Gia Nghia ward).
Arranging exam sites according to each area of the three localities before merging helps candidates take the exam near their residence, reducing travel pressure but still ensuring the uniform organization of the exam throughout the province.
In the 2026 - 2027 school year, four specialized high schools of the province include: Thang Long Specialized High School, Bao Loc Specialized High School, Tran Hung Dao Specialized High School and Nguyen Chi Thanh Specialized High School, enrolling a total of 1,295 targets.
According to regulations, secondary school graduates with training and academic results for the whole year from good or higher are allowed to register to take exams for a maximum of two specialized subjects at the same specialized high school; and at the same time are allowed to register for admission to a maximum of two aspirations to non-specialized high schools.
In the Da Lat area, the exam site of Nguyen Du Secondary School arranged 38 exam rooms with 907 candidates applying to Thang Long Specialized High School.
In Bao Loc, the exam site of Nguyen Du High School has 696 candidates registered to enroll in Bao Loc Specialized High School with 29 exam rooms.
From July 2 to 4, candidates take three common subjects including Literature, Mathematics and English.
After completing the compulsory subjects, candidates registering for specialized schools will continue to take the specialized subject exam according to their wishes.
The whole province has 4,880 candidates registered to take the exam for 10th grade of specialized high schools in the 2026 - 2027 school year.
The provincial Education sector expects the exam to take place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations, thereby selecting students with outstanding abilities into specialized classes.
