Implementing the goal of building a learning society in the new period, the Son La Provincial Association for Promoting Education promotes education promotion and talent promotion movements and replicates many effective learning models.
Through this, associations at all levels mobilize socialized resources, contributing to the development of education and improving the quality of local human resources.

Ms. Mai Thu Huong, Chairwoman of the Son La Provincial Association for Promoting Education, said that associations at all levels proactively advise on the implementation of policies to promote education, encourage talent, develop members and build a scholarship fund. At the same time, lifelong learning movements, "Digital Age", "Digital Literacy" are widely deployed, spreading the spirit of studiousness in the community.
According to Ms. Huong, encouraging education is associated with building 5 core learning models. Many programs such as "Nuôi em khuyến học", "Tiếp sức mùa thi", "Xuân Biên phòng ấm lòng dân bản" have effectively mobilized social resources, supporting students in remote, isolated and border areas to go to school.
After 4 years of implementation, the "Learning never together" scholarship has become a meaningful source of encouragement for many students and individuals who successfully self-study.
The family of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vi Thi Xuan Thuy and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Viet Hung, lecturers at Northwest University, are typical examples of "Learning Families" with two children both achieving high achievements in their studies and excellent student exams.
Ms. Thuy shared that parents must be role models for their children to follow. The family always builds a harmonious, open, and companion environment and creates conditions for children to develop comprehensively.

Doan Bao Ngoc, a 4A1 student at Ngoc Linh Elementary School, who won the Third Prize in the National Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2025, said that the scholarship is a great source of encouragement, adding motivation for her to continue striving to study and train.
Athlete Lem Thi Thao, Gold medalist of the CJ International Taekwondo Championship, shared that the concern and support from the Provincial Association for Promoting Education and the Provincial Training and Sports Competition Center is the motivation for her to strive to practice and achieve high results in the international arena.
The studious movement spread strongly in clans such as Cam clan, Muong Tranh commune, Thao clan, Long He commune, Trang clan, Phieng Khoai commune.
Mr. Trang Lao Lu, head of the Trang clan, Lao Kho village, Phieng Khoai commune, said that the clan has more than 20 officials, civil servants, and public employees; many children and grandchildren are studying at colleges and universities and are studying at ethnic minority boarding schools.
Up to now, 100% of households in the lineage have achieved the title "Academic Family". Trang family families in the village have actively applied science and technology to develop the economy, Mr. Lu said.
Currently, Son La province has more than 742,000 studying citizens, nearly 245,000 studying families, 1,176 studying clans, 1,974 studying communities and 902 studying units.
The Association for Promoting Education at all levels has awarded thousands of scholarships and certificates of merit to typical collectives and individuals with a total budget of more than 3.6 billion VND.

The achieved results are creating a solid foundation for Son La to build a learning society, promote the tradition of studiousness, nurture talents and contribute quality human resources to the sustainable development of the locality.
