Kim Lien High School, Yen Hoa High School and Le Quy Don High School - Ha Dong lead the 10th grade benchmark scores of Hanoi with 26/30 points. With the calculation of scores for 3 subjects Math, Literature, Foreign Language without coefficient multiplication, on average, candidates must achieve nearly 8.7 points per subject to be admitted to these 3 schools.

Following are Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Phan Dinh Phung, Viet Duc high schools with an admission threshold of 25.75.
The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year in the City takes place on May 30 and 31, with nearly 125,000 candidates registering to take the three subjects Math, Literature and Foreign Language.
In the first year of enrollment, Hoang Quan Chi High School took the benchmark score of 23, Viet Hung High School took 17 points; while Minh Chau Primary, Secondary and High School took 8.5 - the lowest this year.
Last year, there were 12 high schools in Hanoi with benchmark scores from 23.75 or higher, meaning that candidates must achieve an average of 7.92 points or higher for each subject to pass.
