On the afternoon of June 19, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced exam scores and benchmark scores for 10th grade entrance to public high schools for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Below are the benchmark scores of public high schools in Hanoi for the 2026 - 2027 school year.





Last year, in 115 non-specialized public high schools in Hanoi, there were 12 schools with benchmark scores of 23.75 or higher, meaning that candidates must achieve an average of 7.92 points or higher per subject to pass.
In which, Kim Lien High School and Le Quy Don High School - Ha Dong are the 2 schools with the highest grade 10 benchmark scores with 25.5 points.
With the admission score calculation method being a total of 3 exam subjects all calculated with a coefficient of 1, the above score level is equivalent to candidates having to achieve an average of 8.5 points per subject.
Ranked second are Phan Dinh Phung High School and Viet Duc High School with 25.25 points. Yen Hoa High School and Nguyen Gia Thieu High School ranked right behind with a benchmark score of 25 points.
