After the first enrollment round ended, many universities in Ho Chi Minh City continued to announce or maintain the supplementary admission round in 2026.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) is recruiting an additional 800 quotas for 38 bilingual training majors and 4 talent programs. Application deadline is until the end of the 25th. 8. Application threshold is based on high school graduation exam results from 15 points, some majors have their own requirements; in addition, the school also considers academic records, competency assessment exam scores and V-SAT.
Saigon University of Technology also has 600 quotas in 20 majors and will accept applications until the end of August 31.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade is recruiting 20 additional targets for the Fisheries Processing Technology major and 60 targets for two international liên kết programs.
Another school in Ho Chi Minh City, Van Lang University, is recruiting an additional 2,000 quotas for training majors, with the deadline for receiving applications until August 30.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology plans to recruit an additional 1,000 quotas.
Hong Bang International University (HIU) is also opening an additional admission round. According to the school's announcement, the application submission period lasts until August 31 or when the quota is met.
Nguyen Tat Thanh University is also opening supplementary admissions from August 13 with many training majors. The application score level is applied by the school equal to the benchmark score of the first phase, in which the remaining majors outside the health and law groups receive applications from 15 points according to the high school graduation exam score method. For the Law and Economic Law majors, the application score level is 20 points according to the high school graduation exam score; the Medicine, Dentistry and Maxillofacial groups have scores from 22 points.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Technology is considering additional admissions for 95 quotas for the Law major, the time to receive applications is up to 25. Another school, Saigon International University (SIU), is recruiting additional 500 quotas.
For Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH), candidates should note that the new supplementary enrollment is being carried out at UEH Mekong in Vinh Long, not a training facility in Ho Chi Minh City. The school starts receiving applications from August 22.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Law also opens more opportunities for candidates with 350 quotas for Law majors at Quang Tri Branch. The school accepts applications from August 22nd to August 31st, 2026.
University of Finance - Marketing also announced additional recruitment of 2,600 quotas for two branches in Hue City and Quang Ngai province. Receiving applications from August 21 to October 31, 2026.
