A 7th grade student at Luong Dinh Cua Secondary School (Thu Duc City) unfortunately fell from the first floor of the school on the morning of May 15, resulting in injuries.
The incident happened at the beginning of the class. According to initial information, this student was said to have stood on a chair near the railing and slipped and fell.
Immediately after the incident, the school quickly took the student to Le Van Thinh Hospital (Thu Duc City) for health check-ups and monitoring.
A representative of Le Van Thinh Hospital said that they are taking a CT scan to comprehensively assess the damage. Initially, it was determined that he had soft tissue and pelvic injuries. Currently, the health and psychology of students are continuing to be monitored by doctors.
On the same day, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, confirmed the information and said that the Department had received a quick report from the school. He added that the student suffered a software injury and is waiting for a specific conclusion from the doctor.
The Department of Education and the school are coordinating to support psychological stabilization for students in the classroom, avoiding causing confusion. The homeroom teacher is directly reassuring the students, and everyone hopes that the students in distress will recover soon.
