Nguyen Van Luong Secondary School (Binh Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) has sent a notice to all parents about the school not collecting parents' fees and funding for the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the school, there will be 4 non-compensation items including: No collection of operating expenses of the parent-teacher association; No collection of sponsorship funds; No mobilization to care for staff, teachers, and staff; No mobilization to purchase facilities for classes and schools.
Mr. Dinh Phu Cuong - Principal of Nguyen Van Luong Secondary School said that all information about the collection and expenditure activities will be approved by the school principal and notified to parents through homeroom teachers.
"Currently, some parents claim that organizing money collection campaigns on behalf of the school, posting on parent group sites to collect money is wrong, parents need to be more vigilant," Mr. Cuong informed.
It is known that this is not the first year the school has announced that it will not collect the Parents' Fund. Since 2018, the school has issued a notice to all parents of students at the beginning of each school year about not collecting parents' funds and funding for sponsorship mobilization.
