On the morning of September 18, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (FFF) and Central organizations held a press conference to inform about the preparation and organization of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the press conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions Nguyen Thai Hoc said that regarding personnel work, the competent authority will appoint the Party Executive Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions after the 14th National Party Congress.
Therefore, according to Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, after the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Congress, central organizations, the current leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, and central organizations will continue to lead and direct the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and central organizations after the 14th Congress.
Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc stated that with the new context, new organizational model, new functions and tasks, new requirements, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Congress and Central organizations must be a congress of solidarity, the highest determination to promote the strength and intelligence of all classes of people, of Party members in the entire Party Committee, and have solutions to successfully implement the requirements set out.
Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations Nguyen Thai Hoc said that at the working session of the Politburo with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations, General Secretary To Lam suggested that the Party Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations should pay attention to discussing and answering the 3 issues raised.
The first issue is to innovate the mechanism and operation methods of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations according to the new model. Second is how activities must enhance substance, depth and effectiveness; overcome movement and formality. Third is how to mobilize, arouse, unite, gather all classes of people, arouse the people's strength and resources among the people.
"Researching the 3 issues raised by the General Secretary, the congress's action program outlined 8 key tasks, 10 main solutions and 3 breakthroughs. All of these issues clearly demonstrate the determination of the Party Committee to respond to the 3 orientations of the General Secretary, said Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc.
The Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations took place from September 22 to 23, at the Vietnam Youth Academy, the first congress of the 6 Party Committees directly under the Central Committee.
Regarding the delegation, the congress was attended by 350 delegates. Of which, the delegates are of course 31 comrades in the Executive Committee, the elected delegates attending the Congress include 18 comrades from 5 Party organizations; the delegates are appointed as 301 delegates from 20 affiliated Party organizations. Delegates attending ensure compliance with the structure, including: delegates representing affiliated Party committees; leaders of departments and units of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of the Party Committee's advisory committees; delegates who are ethnic minorities, young delegates, delegates who are exemplary Party members in Party committees...
Mr. Nguyen Minh Chung - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations - said that the personnel preparation process is in accordance with procedures, public, transparent, ensuring standards, structure, and quantity according to the Politburo's Directive.
Draft political report of the congress: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee; strongly innovating thinking and leadership methods; gathering and mobilizing all classes of people to promote democracy and the strength of great national unity, united, and joined hands to enter an era of developing a rich, prosperous, civilized, and happy country". The action motto of the congress is expected to be: Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Innovation - Development.
