Mai Xuan Trieu is a contestant taking the exam at the exam site of Binh An Secondary School (District 8). Due to myasthenia gravis since the age of 3, her legs have gradually weakened and she can now only move on a wheelchair.
On June 5, Trieu was taken by his mother on a motorbike to the exam site to participate in the exam procedures, then supported by friends and teachers to move to the exam room.

Trieu said that he had placed his first wish at Hung Vuong High School (District 5) - a school near his mother's workplace to facilitate transportation when admitted.
"I was a bit nervous and a little worried. In the past few days, although I could not go to extra classes, I have studied a lot by myself, there were days when I studied until midnight, and the next morning I continued to go to school. In the past year of grade 9, I have been an excellent student," Trieu excitedly expressed.
Before entering the important exam, Trieu was moved and sent his thanks to his friends and teachers for their support and care over the years.
"In the near future, each of us will have our own choice, but I hope that you, no matter where you study, will still keep in touch with each other. Thank you very much," Trieu said.

Taking her son to the exam site, Ms. Vo Thi Kim Huong - Mai Xuan Trieu's mother could not hide her emotions and pride when her child was preparing to complete a journey in her student life.
Ms. Huong shared that despite having difficulty traveling, Trieu always maintains an optimistic spirit and strives to study non-stop.
"I can't go to extra classes like my friends, but I study very hard and have been an excellent student for many years. As a mother, I love my child very much, but I am also very proud of her always trying to overcome her fate, Ms. Huong choked up as she shared.
Ms. Huong said that during the years of studying at Trieu, he was wholeheartedly loved by teachers and friends, and there were even volunteers who carried him up and down to class every day. "I am very grateful for this."

Before the important 10th grade exam, Ms. Huong hopes that her child will do well in her homework and achieve her wishes.
"As long as my child can study in a suitable environment and continue to nurture their dreams, for me and my family, that is the greatest success," Ms. Huong confided.
Mr. Pho Trong Huy - Vice Chairman of the Exam Score Council of Binh An Secondary School (District 8) said that because the contestant (Mai Xuan Trieu) wanted to sit in the exam room as arranged, the exam score will arrange for someone to support him to move him to the exam room, creating the best conditions for him to complete the exam.
