On the afternoon of June 3, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the number of eligible students admitted directly to grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year.
Accordingly, 944 students were directly admitted. Of which, 81 students have won national and international prizes for physical education and sports; 105 students have physical disabilities and 758 students have intellectual disabilities.
In 2025, the entrance exam for grade 10 public high schools in Ho Chi Minh City will take place on June 6 and 7 with 3 subjects: Math, Literature (120 minutes/subject) and Foreign Language (90 minutes). Candidates taking the entrance exam to a specialized school or an integrated class will take an additional exam in a specialized subject or an integrated subject (150 minutes).
The exam has 76,435 candidates registered to take the exam. The total enrollment target of public high schools is 70,070 students.
