On the morning of September 5th, in harmony with the atmosphere of opening the 2026-2027 school year of students nationwide, teachers and students of 4 primary schools in the Truong Sa Special Zone organized the opening ceremony in a solemn and joyful atmosphere.
At school sites on Song Tu Tay, Sinh Ton, Truong Sa and Da Tay islands, officials, soldiers, teachers, parents and students join hands to prepare for the opening day.
The opening ceremonies were held solemnly and concisely. After the flag salute ceremony, singing the National Anthem and reading New Year's greeting letters, the schools deployed key tasks for the 2026-2027 school year.

At Song Tu Tay island, officers and soldiers coordinated with the school to prepare conditions to serve the new school year; and at the same time organized visits, encouragement and gifts to teachers and students on the occasion of the opening ceremony.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Tung, Political Commissar of Song Tu Tay Island, said that taking care of the cause of education, creating conditions for students to study and train is the responsibility and affection of officers and soldiers on the island.

The opening atmosphere at Da Tay island was also bustling. From many days ago, officials, soldiers, teachers, and parents cleaned the school, renovated the campus, and prepared the necessary conditions for the opening day.
At the opening ceremony, officers and soldiers on the island presented gifts to encourage teachers and students, creating more joy and motivation for teachers and students to enter the new school year.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Yen, a parent on Da Tay island, shared that her family is very excited to see their children happily going to school on the opening day.
As parents on the island, we always want our children to have good learning conditions and be enthusiastically taught by teachers," Ms. Yen said.
Classrooms in the open sea
At Truong Sa Island, the opening ceremony took place in a joyful and warm atmosphere. Besides the ceremonies of the opening day, officers and soldiers organized exchanges, gave gifts and encouraged students.
Art performances by officials, soldiers, teachers and students created more excitement on the first day of the school year.
Nguyen Pham Ngoc Trinh, a 3rd grade student at Truong Sa Primary School, said she was very happy to attend the opening ceremony with her friends and teachers on the island.
In this school year, I will try to be well-behaved, study hard, be united with friends and listen to teachers and parents. I am very proud to study on Truong Sa Island," Trinh shared.
At Sinh Ton Island, the teaching staff entered the new school year with a high sense of responsibility.
Teacher Phan Quang Tuan, Sinh Ton Elementary School, said that teaching in Truong Sa has its own difficulties, but teachers always receive attention and encouragement from superiors, officers, soldiers and parents on the island.
Along with the opening ceremony, cultural and artistic activities, exchanges, and gift giving were organized appropriately, creating a joyful and united atmosphere between officials, soldiers, teachers, parents and students.
In the 2026-2027 school year, primary schools in the Truong Sa Special Zone continue to focus on improving the quality of education, moral education, life skills, patriotism and love for the sea and islands for students; and at the same time strengthen coordination between schools, families and forces on the island.
