On January 17, Mr. Le Manh Hien - Chairman of Minh Chau Commune People's Committee (Nghe An) - said that he had just signed and issued a document to rectify experiential activities in educational institutions in the area, in order to strengthen ensuring security and safety at schools before, during and after the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.
Accordingly, kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools do not organize activities to experience wrapping banh chung on Tet in any form; do not organize experiential and extracurricular activities outside the commune.
In case of organizing experiential activities, outside of class hours at historical sites, scenic spots, production and business establishments in the commune, it is necessary to report to the Commune People's Committee for consideration and comments before implementation.
Minh Chau Commune People's Committee requests the principals of schools to fully implement the content to officials, teachers, staff, students and parents to coordinate implementation; be responsible for management, ensuring discipline, order and safety for students.
The rectification aims to prevent risks and ensure absolute safety for students in educational activities, especially during crowded times during holidays and Tet.
