On June 24, information from the People's Committee of Nghe An province said that Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Van Thanh had just inspected the reality and directed to accelerate the progress of projects to build inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in Anh Son and Hanh Lam communes.
In Anh Son commune, the project to build an inter-level boarding primary and secondary school has a total investment of more than 377 billion VND. The project includes 14 main house items and auxiliary technical infrastructure systems.
According to reports at the construction site, contractors are implementing the "90 days and nights" campaign to put the project into operation on schedule. To date, the primary school building has completed the construction of the 2nd floor wall, is processing and installing floor girder molds on the 3rd floor and underground power lines on the 1st floor.

For the secondary school building block, building 6A has completed the roof concrete; building 6B has completed the 3rd floor wall, preparing to pour the roof beams; building 6C has completed the 3rd floor pillars. It is expected that by June 30, buildings 6B and 6C will take towers and move to the completion phase.
Currently, contractors maintain about 230 - 260 workers, and there is a shortage of about 150 people to ensure the progress of auxiliary items, fences, gates and fire prevention and fighting tanks.
The contractor representative said that they have sent a document to the investor, proposing to support the mobilization of armed forces to participate in some parts of the project's completion.
Next, the working delegation inspected the project to build an inter-level boarding primary and secondary school in Hanh Lam commune. The project has a total investment of more than 365 billion VND, invested by the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works of Nghe An province.
At the construction site, contractors are maintaining about 330 - 350 workers and many machinery and construction vehicles. Some key items such as primary school buildings, secondary school buildings, administration buildings, teacher dormitories, student dormitories, multi-purpose buildings, kitchens and dining rooms are being deployed simultaneously.
Through actual inspection, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Thai Van Thanh acknowledged the efforts of the investor and contractors in the project implementation process. At the same time, he requested relevant units to focus highly on operating, organizing construction and managing project quality.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested contractors to develop a detailed and feasible construction roadmap, striving to complete the project before August 26, 2026; supplement human resources for delayed items, and strictly control construction quality.
On November 9, 2025, Nghe An started construction of 9 inter-level boarding schools in Hanh Lam, Keng Du, Bac Ly, Nhon Mai, Tam Thai, Mon Son, Anh Son, Que Phong and Tri Le communes. By March 19, 2026, Nghe An will continue to start construction of 11 schools in Thong Thu, My Ly, Son Lam, Nam Can, Muong Tip, Tam Quang, Na Loi, Tien Phong, Muong Xen, Chau Khe and Kim Bang communes.
According to the leader of the Project Management Board for Construction Investment of Civil and Industrial Works of Nghe An province, the unit is directing contractors to overcome difficulties and urgently accelerate the progress of projects.
