Nghe An - The course helps students develop their talents, contributing to the preservation of Vi Giam folk songs, a heritage that has been honored and preserved by UNESCO for many generations.

On June 29, information from the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province said that it had just issued a document requesting high schools in the area to propagate and mobilize students to participate in the Vi and Giam Nghe Tinh folk song talent training class in 2025.

This activity aims to implement Decision No. 3122/QD-UBND dated August 24, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee on protecting and promoting the value of Vi and Giam folk heritage for the period 2021-2025.

The class will be held in Vinh City, implemented by the Traditional Arts Center in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Education and Training.

According to the plan, high schools will widely inform students about the program through social networks, websites, text messages and other communication channels. At the same time, the school coordinated with the parent-teacher association to create favorable conditions for students with talent and passion for Vi and Giam folk songs to register to participate in the course.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province, the discovery and fostering of talents contributes to preserving the intangible cultural heritage of the nation, forming a team of successors with skills, understanding and love for Vi and Giam Nghe Tinh folk songs.
