On September 7, Mr. Huynh Quang Tu - Vice Chairman of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee - provided additional information related to the content of merging 13 primary schools in the area, establishing Nha Trang Primary School.
After arrangement, Nha Trang Primary School has 1 main school, 12 branches and 5 school sites, with 287 classes, more than 10,500 students and 524 management staff, teachers and staff.
The Vice Chairman of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee affirmed that management and personnel organization work are basically maintained stably after the merger. The school's apparatus operates in the direction of inheriting the previous model.
Leaders of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee will regularly supervise and maintain exchanges to ensure that directing and operating work is well implemented.
Regarding the organizational structure, the main changes are concentrated in the indirect department and the school board.
In 12 branches, each branch is arranged with a vice-principal in charge. These people were previously principals at schools arranged into branches.
According to Mr. Huynh Quang Tu, arranging personnel in this direction is to limit disruption, create closeness and stability in the operation of the branches.
At the same time, this approach helps limit the transfer of officials and teachers back and forth between schools.
For semi-boarding work, branches implement uniform meals. All students are applied the same diet, regardless of main school or branch.
Regarding the management of the apparatus at schools with a large number of classes and students, leaders of Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training said that the education sector is implementing according to the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Accordingly, each main school has a principal and a vice principal; at branches, a vice principal is arranged to be in charge, and at school sites, there are no vice principals.
The reorganization of schools and classes is expected to help regulate the teaching staff more effectively. The situation of local teacher surplus and shortage in schools can be overcome when school sites are organized in the same large school.
Teachers can be regulated and arranged between school sites, thereby balancing human resources, limiting the situation of local teacher surplus and shortage, and reducing the impact on teaching activities.
In addition to personnel, facilities and equipment at school sites that previously belonged to different schools are also managed and exploited in the same school.
Teachers and students can use and share existing facilities and equipment, contributing to improving the efficiency of teaching and learning.
