Hanoi University of Technology is expected to announce the admission scores for 64 majors and training programs based on the results of the university entrance exam and high school graduation exam in 2024 on August 17.
The Banking Academy and Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry are also expected to announce the admission scores on August 17.
Hanoi Open University announced that the admission scores are expected to be announced from August 17 to 18.
Hanoi University of Construction will announce the admission scores by August 19 at the latest.
Universities such as Hanoi University of Economics, Hanoi University of Industry, and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology are expected to announce the admission scores on August 19.
The Banking Academy will announce the admission scores for 2024 for the following admission methods: admission of excellent students based on high school academic results, admission based on high school graduation exam results, admission based on international English language certificates and high school graduation exam results, and admission based on university entrance exam results, all at the same time, by August 19 at the latest.
According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, the virtual filtering process for university admission will take place from August 13 to 17:00 on August 17 and will be conducted 6 times.
Each day, universities will participate in the process with the Ministry of Education and Training, following the correct procedure to receive data, conduct admission, and send the admission results to the system. All admission methods (approximately 20 methods) will be conducted simultaneously on the Ministry's system.
After the final virtual filtering process, universities will input the admission scores and admission results into the system, review, and prepare to announce the admission results for the first round according to the common schedule. Therefore, after this period, universities can announce the admission scores and admission results to students.
The Ministry of Education and Training requires universities to announce the admission scores by August 19 at 17:00. Each student can only be admitted to their highest priority.
This year, over 733,000 students nationwide have registered for university admission, with a total of over 1 million students taking the high school graduation exam. Approximately 337,000 students have dropped out of university admission, a decrease of 2.6% compared to last year.
Last year, over 660,000 students participated in university admission, with 610,000 students admitted to the first round, achieving a rate of nearly 93%.
