Diem My could not hide her joy when she learned that she became the valedictorian of the B00 combination (Math, Chemistry, Biology) nationwide at the 2026 high school graduation exam with a total absolute score of 30/30.
The female student said that immediately after the exam ended, she compared the answers and partly predicted that she would get high scores, but was not sure she would get perfect scores in all three subjects.
When I looked up the scores and knew I had become the valedictorian of the national B00 combination, I really burst into tears. The first person I called to report the news was my mother" - Diem My shared.
According to Diem My, when entering high school, she did not set a goal to study in a specialized school or selected class, but determined to build a study plan suitable for her abilities and persistently pursue the chosen goal.

Her love for natural sciences formed from the early years of secondary school. In 8th grade, the female student decided to pursue the B00 combination and nurtured her dream of becoming a doctor.
This decision came from my own wishes, not from my family's orientation. My parents are both farmers. Although they always accompany and encourage me in my studies, my family still respects my career choice" - Diem My said.
Throughout her studies, the female student does not put much emphasis on the number of study hours but prioritizes efficiency. On average, she spends about 5 hours a day studying, while still maintaining reasonable rest and entertainment time. Only in the period near the exam, Diem My often stays up late to complete her review plan.
At the final stretch, Diem My allocated relatively balanced time between three subjects: Math, Chemistry and Biology, and actively adjusted according to her own ability in each subject.
Chemistry is the subject I am most confident in, so I reduce the study time to spend more time on Math and Biology. I also find that studying in class is not enough, so I proactively self-study through lectures on YouTube and online classes of teachers. In my opinion, self-study ability is a very important factor to achieve good results" - the female student shared.
Assessing this year's exam, Diem My commented that the Math exam has a reasonable distribution of knowledge. After completing all the exam subjects, she compared the Math answers and was quite reassured with her work.
Most of the knowledge has been learned at school and during the review process. The important thing is that when entering the exam room, you must maintain a stable mentality, not be flustered or nervous before the exam to fully develop your abilities" - she said.
Sharing about his student, Mr. Mai Quoc Tuan - Principal of Nguyen Cong Tru High School No. 1, Dak Lak - said that the school had partly predicted Diem My's results before the Ministry of Education and Training announced the scores.
Diem My is an excellent student throughout her studies, has good ability and studies very seriously. She is one of the outstanding students of the school. However, getting perfect scores still brings joy and is somewhat surprising" - Mr. Tuan said.
With the achieved results, Diem My plans to register her first wish at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy to continue pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor that she nurtured from her 8th grade.
On the morning of July 1st, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the exam scores of more than 1.2 million candidates and the common score distribution for the 2026 high school graduation exam.
