According to 2026 high school graduation exam score data, Hanoi continues to affirm its position in the group of candidates with perfect scores, while Ninh Binh stands out in terms of average exam scores of candidates.
Specifically, Hanoi is the leading locality in the country in terms of scores of 10 in 4 subjects, including Mathematics (676 scores of 10), Physics (32), History (263) and English (118). In addition, Hanoi also shares the lead in Informatics with Da Nang City, Ho Chi Minh City and An Giang, each locality has 3 scores of 10.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City leads in the number of 10s in Chemistry (61) and Biology (45). Phu Tho leads in Geography with 6 10s; Can Tho City leads in Technology - Agriculture with 6 10s; Quang Tri and An Giang jointly lead in Technology - Industry with 5 10s.
Regarding Economic and Legal Education, Hung Yen and Thanh Hoa are both leading, but each locality only has 1 score of 10, while Literature did not record a perfect score.
If considering the average score, Ninh Binh is the most prominent locality when leading in 4 subjects, including Mathematics (6,265 points), Literature (7,257 points), Geography (5,630 points) and Technology - Industry (8,056 points). This locality also leads in Technology - Agriculture with 8,000 points, becoming the province with the highest average score achievement in many exam subjects in this year's exam.
In addition, Ha Tinh leads in 3 subjects, including Physics (6.251 points), Chemistry (6.899 points) and Informatics (7.503 points). Bac Ninh has the highest average score in Biology in the country with 6.912 points; Ho Chi Minh City leads in Economic and Legal Education with 5.461 points, while Phu Tho leads in History with 6.690 points. For English, Hanoi is the locality with the highest average score, reaching 5.549 points.
Statistics of 10s of high school graduation exam subjects in 2026
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, Mathematics and History are the two subjects with the most perfect scores in the 2026 high school graduation exam. Mathematics alone recorded 4,208 perfect scores, the highest among all subjects. History ranked second with 2,465 perfect scores.
Third place is Chemistry with 412 scores. Next is English 311 scores, Physics 189 scores, Biology 129 scores and Geography 56 scores.
The subjects Technology - Agriculture, Technology - Industry and Informatics have 44, 40 and 25 scores of 10 respectively.
While Economics and Law Education only had 2 perfect scores, Literature did not record perfect scores.
