On August 16, the Academy of Finance held the Closing Ceremony and Awarding ceremony for the 60th regular university system graduation.
Among the 3,364 students eligible for graduation, Le Thi Hong Nhung - a student of class CQ60/05.02, Department of Taxation and Customs - was one of the 12 valedictorians honored at the ceremony.
In addition to academic achievements, Hong Nhung also won the title of 5-Good Student at the academy level in the 2023-2024 academic year, received a scholarship from Vietcombank Bank and had 2 yearbook articles at the Faculty of Taxation - Customs.
Looking back at her university journey, the female student believes that the most important thing she learned was not to give up on herself in difficult times.
“In 4 years of university, there will definitely be times when I feel tired, pressured, and even sometimes doubt my abilities.
But after each time like that, I realize that the important thing is not whether I am not good enough or have encountered so many difficulties, but whether I am ready to stand up and continue or not" - Hong Nhung shared.
According to the female student, each student has times when they have not achieved what they want. However, just by not giving up on themselves, you still have the opportunity to try and become a better version.
For Hong Nhung, the important baggage that the Academy of Finance brings to students is not only professional knowledge but also the spirit of learning and adaptability - necessary factors when entering the labor market.
After 4 years, we are no longer the unfamiliar students on the first day of enrollment, but have become more confident, more courageous new graduates and ready to embark on a new journey" - the female student confided.
At the ceremony, the Academy of Finance commended 12 valedictorians graduating in training majors. The Tâm - Tài - Chính Education Development Fund awarded scholarships of 10 million VND to each valedictorian to recognize academic achievements and encourage students to continue to develop in the new journey.
Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Academy of Finance - said that the graduation certificate not only recognizes the results of 4 years of studying and training but is also proof of the will, spirit of overcoming difficulties and aspiration to rise up of each student.
According to the summary report of course CQ60, the Academy of Finance has 3,813 students studying until the end of the course, of which 3,364 students are eligible for graduation, accounting for 88.22%.
Of which, 764 students achieved excellent grades, accounting for 28.41%; 1,184 students achieved excellent grades, accounting for 44.03%; 728 students achieved good grades and 13 students achieved average grades.
Amidst the context of digital transformation, innovation and international integration, the Academy's leaders expect new graduates to continue studying for life, maintain professional ethics, integrity and nurture the desire to contribute.
