Accelerate review, stabilize students' psychology
In the last days of May, the review atmosphere at Nguyen Trung Ngan High School (Hong Quang commune, Hung Yen province) became more urgent as 12th grade students entered the final sprint before the 2026 high school graduation exam.
According to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Principal of the school, right from the beginning of the school year, the school has developed a specific review plan, requiring teachers to proactively review the program, classify students to have appropriate support methods. The review is implemented weekly, closely following the capacity of each student group, both consolidating basic knowledge and practicing test-taking skills.
Not only focusing on expertise, the school also focuses on stabilizing students' psychology. Teachers regularly encourage and remind them to maintain a comfortable spirit and avoid excessive pressure in the final stage.
The difference of this year's exam, according to Mr. Tuan, is that there are no specific sample exams like in previous years, making teachers and students more proactive in the review process, closely following the program and orientation of the Ministry of Education and Training. The school believes that the exam questions may be differentiated, requiring students not only to firmly grasp knowledge but also to know how to apply and allocate time to do the test reasonably.
Hoang Quynh Huong - a 12A1 student (Nguyen Trung Ngan High School) - said that she is focusing on reviewing 4 subjects including Math, Literature, Physics and English. According to Quynh Huong, the companionship of teachers and family is a great source of encouragement to help her become more confident.
Teachers are always ready to answer all questions, provide materials, and review outlines very closely. Parents also create all conditions for me to focus on studying. I feel secure and determined to try my best" - Quynh Huong shared.
Prepare synchronously for the exam to take place safely and seriously
The 2026 high school graduation exam will take place from June 10 to 12. According to the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province, by the end of May 5, the whole province had 43,666 registered candidates, including 41,791 12th grade students and 1,875 independent candidates. It is expected that the province will establish 70 exam sites, arrange 1,926 exam rooms and 134 waiting rooms.
To prepare for the exam, the education sector has directed educational institutions to complete the school year program according to plan, organize group review, strengthen mock exams to assess students' abilities and adjust the review content appropriately.
According to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, and localities must closely coordinate to ensure full conditions on security, health, electricity, water, communication, food safety and support for candidates throughout the exam period.
In particular, the work of preventing and combating exam cheating using high-tech equipment is set with strict requirements. The Provincial Police are assigned to develop a plan to absolutely ensure security and safety for the exam; proactively detect and handle violations.
