Hanoi University of Industry has just announced its enrollment plan for 2025. The school plans to enroll 7,990 students for 62 majors and training programs next year, an increase of 340 enrollment targets compared to this year.
The school uses 5 methods including:
Method 1: Direct admission, unlimited quota;
Method 2: Consider international certificate scores or excellent student awards combined with high school transcript scores of all three years of three subjects in a combination (expected 10% of the target);
Method 3: Admission based on graduation exam results (expected 80% of target);
Method 4: Admission based on Hanoi National University's capacity assessment test scores combined with academic records (expected 5% of enrollment target);
Method 5: Consider the results of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's thinking assessment test combined with academic records (expected 5% of the target).
Compared to last year, Hanoi University of Industry stopped considering academic transcript scores independently, instead combining this criterion with international certificates, excellent student awards, and test scores to assess capacity and thinking.
Regarding the admission combinations, the school plans to add a number of new combinations suitable for the new general education program, including A0C (Math, Physics, Technology), A0T (Math, Physics, Information Technology), B0C (Math, Chemistry, Technology), D0C (Math, English, Technology), D0G (Math, English, Economic Education and Law).
The expected admission criteria, methods and combinations for each industry are as follows:
In 2024, the school's benchmark based on high school graduation exam scores ranges from 19 to 26.05 points. Of which, the Control and Automation Engineering Technology major has the highest benchmark score.
In the 2025 enrollment season, not only Hanoi University of Industry, but also some schools such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade also reduced or eliminated the consideration of high school transcripts due to concerns about the uneven evaluation and scoring of high school transcripts.
