The Hanoi National University of Education's Pedagogical Training Week takes place from November 18 to November 22, 2024. This is an annual and unique activity of the school to enhance professional skills for students and foster a love for the profession for future teachers.
The school-level Pedagogical Competition had the participation of 24 teams of students from various faculties of Hanoi National University of Education in various contents and attracted the attention of staff, lecturers and students of the whole school.
The new point of this year's competition is that, in addition to the usual competitions: Knowledge; debate; media clip and dramatization, there is also a creative photo-booth competition for the teams.
This year's debate topics are updated with current content, issues of interest to the education sector and society. Contestants put themselves in each situation to come up with debate content.
In the debate round, students from each team will receive a pedagogical situation to propose a solution. Many pedagogical situations are presented, such as: A situation where a parent comes to see a teacher, gives a gift and asks the teacher to care and "beautify" their child's academic record; A situation where a teacher is filmed by a student giving a wrong lesson, posted online, and attacked by the online community; Or a conflict situation between parents and students related to choosing a major or future career...
These are all very real situations, issues that are of concern to society. The pedagogical students, using their acquired knowledge, discussed enthusiastically about how to behave.
After 2 days of the school-level professional competition, the judges selected and awarded the first, second, and third prizes to the teams in 5 competitions.
In which, the first prize in the Media Clip competition belongs to the Literature team; the first prize in the creative photo-booth competition belongs to the Chemistry team; the first prize in the knowledge competition belongs to the Chemistry team; the first prize in the debate competition belongs to the Physics team and the first prize in the drama competition belongs to the Educational Psychology team.
