Spreading the spirit of learning
"Touching books" is a meaningful initiative of Ms. Tran Huynh Nhi - a teacher at Hoa Ninh High School - with the desire to spread the spirit of learning to many students, especially those in remote areas such as the An Binh Islet area, Long Ho District.
Ms. Nhi said that since the end of 2013, " touching the book" has occurred 16 times.Every time they work, An Binh diligent students are shared and discussed by famous authors and speakers who have been successful in the fields of writing books, becoming students, reading many books.
According to Ms. Nhi, this activity not only adds knowledge but also helps children feel the value of learning.
"The book" helps students access books that both provide knowledge and guide them on how to apply them to life, develop themselves and build dreams," Ms. Nhi added.

Student Tran Nguyen Anh Thu (Hoa Ninh High School) said that the " touching book" activity helps him learn more useful knowledge, carefully selected by Ms. Nhi.
"This is a great opportunity for me to develop myself and demonstrate my lifelong learning spirit. In addition to learning knowledge, I also have the opportunity to interact and share experiences with friends, thereby expanding my understanding and learning from each other," Thu added.
Accompanying " touching the book"
With a love for developing the reading culture, Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Trinh - Head of the Miet Vuon Library - has accompanied the "Touching Book" activity by sponsoring a monthly event at the library.
According to Ms. Trinh - The Milton Garden Library founded by her is not only a place to provide books for students to read for free but also a destination for them to access knowledge and participate in highly educational activities.
Not only does she support the venue, but she also prepares cakes and drinks for the students, creating the best conditions for them to participate and interact comfortably.

This shows her deep concern for the development of students, helping them feel close and easily absorb the values of good books.
"Not only providing free reading books but also wanting to create a positive learning environment, where students can access knowledge, arousing their passion for learning. Organizing "touching books" is a way to spread the spirit of lifelong learning, encouraging children to learn and develop anytime, anywhere," Ms. Trinh added.
