Expectation of resource concentration
Before the 2026 - 2027 school year, after the process of arranging and reorganizing the school network in many localities, parents and students expect positive changes in the educational environment, from focusing resources, improving teaching conditions to opening up more development opportunities for students.
Ms. Le Thi Mai - a parent whose child is studying at a school in Hanoi - said that the arrangement of schools, if implemented reasonably, will create more conditions to invest in facilities and educational activities.
I hope that after the arrangement, the school will have more conditions to invest in classrooms, teaching equipment and spaces to serve students' activities. For parents, the most important thing is still that their children can study in a good environment and have more development opportunities" - she expressed.
From another perspective, Mr. Dao Van Kha - a student parent in Hanoi - assessed that reorganizing the school network can create conditions to better promote the existing teaching staff and facilities.
I expect that after the arrangement, resources will be used more effectively, from the teaching staff to facilities. When the school has better conditions, children will also directly benefit from the quality of teaching and educational activities," he said.
According to Mr. Kha, the important thing is that the re-organization process needs to aim for a long-term goal of improving the quality of education. "Parents do not put much emphasis on whether the school changes its name or model. We are more concerned about where our children learn, what they learn and whether there is an environment for comprehensive development or not" - he wished.
Students hope for more experiential activities
For students, expectations for schools after arrangement are clearly expressed through the desire to have more learning activities, experiences and space to develop personal interests.
Chu Pham Quynh Anh - a student at Xuan Canh Secondary School (Hanoi) - believes that a good educational environment not only needs to ensure classroom learning but also needs to create conditions for students to experience reality.
I hope the school will have more clubs, sports, cultural activities or experiential programs so that students can participate more. These activities help us have more skills and opportunities to learn about our favorite fields" - Quynh Anh expressed.
Nguyen Hong Quan - a student at Co Loa High School (Hanoi) - shared that although his school is not subject to arrangement, he is still interested in the changes of the education sector in the new school year. Quan hopes that the arrangement of the school network will create more conditions for schools to innovate operations and build a more dynamic learning environment.
According to Quan, extracurricular activities also help students cultivate confidence and the ability to coordinate with friends.
I think students will like it more if in addition to class hours, there are also activities for us to participate in ourselves, be creative and show our abilities" - Quan said.
From the sharing of parents and students, what is expected after the school arrangement process is not only organizational changes, but more importantly, positive changes in the teaching and learning environment.
Parents hope that resources will be focused, thereby having more conditions to improve facilities, improve teaching quality and organize diverse educational activities. For students, the expectation of being closer is to have more space for learning, experiencing, playing and opportunities to develop their own interests and abilities.
Before the 2026 - 2027 school year, those expectations are also aimed at a better educational environment, where students not only learn knowledge but also have more opportunities to experience, explore and develop comprehensively.
