Students master AI, solve business administration problems

Participating in the MIS Talent 2025 contest: E-Mastery, students are free to demonstrate their mettle and solve complex business management problems using technology.

The final night of the MIS Talent 2025 contest: E-Mastery with the theme of AI Application Optimizing Enterprise Resource Governance took place on the evening of August 20.

This is an academic competition organized by the Faculty of Management Information Systems, School of Technology, National Economics University, to encourage students to proactively approach and propose solutions to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize resource management activities in enterprises - an increasingly urgent need in practice.

Speaking at the final night, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Duc Tho, Chairman of the National Economics University Council, affirmed that the contest is not only an academic playground, but also a journey to find and nurture young talents in the field of information systems for the digital age.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Duc Tho, today's information systems are no longer just a support tool, but have become the lifeline of every organization, every enterprise, helping to create competitive advantages and sustainable development.

With the theme "AI application to optimize corporate resource governance", MIS Talent 2025 has proven the pioneering vision of digital managers with AI tools.

" Participating in this contest, students not only demonstrated their ability to overcome challenges but also demonstrated their ability to turn theory into practice, solving complex business management problems using technology, thereby contributing to the development of the digital economy.

It is financial support, practical experience and career opportunities that have created the best conditions for students to maximize their abilities, while shortening the gap between school knowledge and the requirements of the labor market" - Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Duc Tho emphasized.

Launched in June 2025, this year's contest attracted hundreds of students from 27 universities across the country with a total of 117 teams.

The special feature of the contest is the orientation of solutions that can be implemented in practice, with consultants from businesses, and the opportunity to connect to test ideas at partner organizations. From there, students can not only stop at academics, but can also directly contribute to improving operational efficiency in the real business environment.

After the qualifying rounds, the 4 teams competing in the final night include:

MISync (4 members from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics); IS-FRIST (4 members from International University, Hanoi National University; TRINITY US (3 members from the University of Natural Sciences - Ho Chi Minh City National University); BIZTECH (3 members from the National Economics University).

After 2 rounds of presentation and debate, the BIZTECH team won the championship title.
