On August 20, the Ministry of Education and Training issued an official dispatch to adjust the virtual admission and screening plan for 2025.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, in the recent past, with the support of training institutions and admission groups, the results of handling on the Admission Support System have ensured convergence, stability and implementation according to plan.
However, in 2025, the number of candidates applying for university and college admissions will increase, which is also the first year that colleges will participate in the admission, there will no longer be early admission, using all admission methods in the first round, so to ensure accurate, fair and objective admission results, the Ministry of Education and Training recommends that training institutions focus and urgently implement:
First, carefully review all data, admission methods, and situations in the context of many candidate data being used for admission to ensure that there are no missed admissions, and that candidates are not admitted incorrectly during the admission process; limit the occurrence of handling errors in the admission process;
Second, carefully calculate options and propose appropriate virtual ratios to avoid creating large virtual quantities, affecting the recruitment of other training institutions as well as enrollment exceeding the targets and training capacity of training institutions.
To ensure that training institutions have time to implement the above requirements, the Ministry of Education and Training has extended the time to organize admission and handle admission wishes on the system.
The Ministry of Education and Training recommends that educational institutions do not announce admission benchmarks before the final virtual filter on the system, that is, not announce before 12:30 on August 22.
Previously, according to the Ministry's plan, from 5:00 p.m. on August 20 to before 5:00 p.m. on August 22, schools must announce the admission scores for the first round of 2025.
Thus, the schedule for announcing the benchmark scores this year will be delayed compared to the previous plan. The plan to organize admission and handle admission wishes on the system is specifically adjusted as follows:
