On the afternoon of August 19, the International Training Institute, the Academy of Finance organized a student scientific conference with the theme "Sustainable economic development in the new context: Connecting knowledge - Orienting the future".

The workshop creates a forum for students to not only update global trends and challenges, but also know how to apply learning knowledge to solve practical problems.
Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen - Director of the International Training Institute, Academy of Finance affirmed that high-quality scientific research and training are two pillars in parallel in the development orientation.
In recent years, students' scientific research activities have been increasingly promoted, both promoting creative thinking and connecting with the country's socio-economic development practices.
In 2023 and 2024, the International Training Institute organized 3 student scientific seminars, attracting the attention and participation of nearly 500 authors who are students of the school, along with students from leading universities in economics such as: Foreign Trade University, University of Commerce, Banking Academy, National Economics University...
"Vietnamese students, when given the right opportunities and orientations, can completely approach macro issues with sharp academic thinking and a spirit of innovation" - Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen affirmed.
At the workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Ly Phuong Duyen - Head of the Association's Advisory Board said that in the context of the world facing many complex changes, from environmental challenges, climate change to the strong shift of technology and the digital economy, sustainable development is no longer an option but has become an urgent requirement.

This is not only the responsibility of policymakers and businesses, but also the mission of the younger generation - those who will create the future.
"With the theme "Connecting knowledge - Orienting the future", the workshop is not only a place to share knowledge but also a bridge between theory and practice, between schools and society, helping students consolidate their knowledge base, practice skills and shape their career path" - Associate Professor, Dr. Ly Phuong Duyen emphasized.
This workshop attracted nearly 50 research papers from students of the Academy of Finance, students of the DDP program of the International Training Institute and many other universities.
