Graduated with honors but struggled to find a job
Graduated with an excellent degree, Nguyen Duy Phuc - a recent graduate of the Faculty of Business Finance, Academy of Finance - still struggles to enter a new environment and said that he had never thought finding a job would be so difficult.
During his four years of university, Phuc studied and worked part-time, interning in many positions to accumulate experience. "I achieved a GPA of 3.62/4, always combining internships and extra work during my studies to improve practical skills. It is my academic achievements and those experiences that make me believe that finding a suitable job will be favorable" - Phuc shared.

After graduating, Phuc began sending documents to many companies and businesses. "I sent about 30 CVs within a month. Some places when interviewed give job requirements that are completely different from recruitment reports, some places are completely silent, do not respond or refuse. Up to now, although I have graduated nearly 2 months ago, I have just started a completely different job in an internship position" - Phuc said.
Phuc added that after a period of consecutive job searches but not as expected, he is considering studying another degree to expand opportunities in the future.
Jump jobs many times to find a suitable job
Not only Duy Phuc, many new bachelors also face many difficulties when they first graduate.
Nguyen Thien Trang - a new bachelor of Business Administration, University of Economics (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) - said that after graduating, she has undergone many major changes. Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, Trang was once kept to work at an internship with a salary of more than 18 million VND/month, a start that many people consider favorable for a new graduate student. However, you decide to refuse.
According to Thien Trang, it is the sudden change from the learning environment to the office environment that has quickly made her feel tired and depressed.
"When I stepped from the chair to the working environment, I found it difficult to integrate and unmotivated. Therefore, I decided to quit my job as a student, switch to the import-export sector and register to learn flower arranging. I want to give myself the opportunity to experience many directions before choosing a long-term career" - Trang expressed.

Currently, Trang is still in the process of researching and trying new jobs to identify a field that is truly passionate and ready to stay long-term.
As for Tran Quynh Anh, a graduate of the Faculty of International Relations, Academy of Journalism and Communication - who had many sleepless nights before choosing to stay in Hanoi, return to her hometown or move to a completely new city to work.

Initially, Quynh Anh decided to stay in Hanoi to do a job in her right major. But after only a month, the pressure of work was piling up, the bustling pace of life and the feeling of being lost made her lose her vision.
"Although I have been used to the working environment for four years, when I officially graduated, I realized that I still have difficulty adapting. I struggled to find many jobs in many places and have just decided to move to Ho Chi Minh City to start organizing events" - Quynh Anh shared.
