According to the People's Committee of Tan Uyen Ward, the ward is currently assigned to manage 10 schools, including 4 kindergartens, 3 primary schools, 1 secondary school, and 2 inter-level schools.
Regarding the renovation and upgrading of schools, there are currently 4 projects that have investment policies and budget approvals including: building a new green library and a multi-purpose gymnasium of Huynh Thi Chau Kindergarten; repairing and upgrading the back yard, roof of the teacher's car, multi-purpose house of Le Thi Trung Secondary School; renovating and upgrading the concrete back yard, roof of the teacher's car of Uyen Hung Primary School.
In addition, there are 5 new proposed projects including: the project to paint new walls, demolish old brick floors, re-pave brick floors for classrooms and functional rooms, and roofs for schoolyards of Huynh Van Luy Primary and Secondary School;
Project to build 10 new classrooms, 4 functional rooms, build a new dining room for students, roof to cover the yard in front and back of Uyen Hung Primary School;
The project to renovate and upgrade the stadium roof, renovate the mini soccer field, vegetable garden, parking area, children's toys, renovate the residential area combined with the ancient garden of Hoa Mai Kindergarten;
Project to renovate, repair, prevent leakage in classrooms, build a fence for a parking lot, and repair an elevator of Mang Non Kindergarten;
The project adds mobile roofs to the 2 school yard areas, repairs outdoor toys of Tan Lap Kindergarten.
According to the People's Committee of Tan Uyen Ward, the ward leaders have requested schools in the area to review the need for repair, renovation, and upgrading of facilities. At the same time, there is a report for synthesis, thereby surveying and advising the Ward People's Committee on urgent issues that need investment.
The leaders of the Ward People's Committee also directed relevant sectors to promptly complete the procedures to implement the above project according to regulations. Thereby, ensuring that the projects are implemented effectively and meet the actual needs of beneficiary units. Prioritize the resolution of degraded items, ensuring safety and meeting teaching and learning requirements
Overloaded schools, students have to sit in rooms surrounded by corrugated iron
According to records, in many communes and wards in Binh Duong area, schools were previously overloaded due to the large number of students. Many classes have 40-50 students. Some schools do not have enough classrooms, so they have to use corrugated iron rooms.

Notably, Dong An Primary School in Tan Dong Hiep Ward has 4 corrugated iron classrooms, An Son Primary School in Long Nguyen Ward has 6 corrugated iron classrooms and old tables and chairs.
