The incident of students still having to study in corrugated iron rooms occurred at An Son Primary School (located on DT748 road, Long Nguyen ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
The school has a row of old level 4 buildings with classrooms for students from grades 1 to 5. In the cramped campus, the school also temporarily built 3 classrooms made of simple corrugated iron.
The classrooms surrounded by corrugated iron cause a feeling of heat and darkness. Inside, most of the tables and chairs were old, including some broken tables and chairs.

Opposite this facility is the second facility of An Son Primary School with 3 other corrugated iron classrooms. Every day, students and teachers have to cross the main road to get to class at the second campus.
In the morning, students studying at campus 2, at noon they will return to campus 1 to eat rice and rest. In the afternoon, the students continued to go to campus 2 to study. She and her students had to cross the main road of DT 748, causing parents to worry and feel insecure.

It is known that most of the school's students are children of workers, parents cannot pick up their children from work for a day and hope that students will be able to take a boarding course to pick them up in the afternoon.
The school held a meeting to collect opinions and parents agreed to contribute more money so that students have space to study 2 sessions/day. The school is responsible for leasing land from a household near campus 1 to open 3 more classes, meeting the wishes of parents.
Talking to reporters, the leader of the Long Nguyen Ward Party Committee said that he had grasped information about the situation of facilities at An Son Primary School.
The cause was determined to be due to a large number of students, overloaded schools, and lack of classrooms. The ward leaders have directed the addition of tables and chairs to ensure a place for the students to study.

In the long term, the ward has directed units to urgently adjust the plan to implement the bidding for the project to build a new facility for An Son Primary School.
The leader of the Long Nguyen Ward Party Committee said that during this period, they were forced to suffer from shortages and difficulties. The implementation of bidding for tables and chairs and school construction also takes a lot of time.
