In the past two days, images of corrugated iron classrooms have been circulating online in Ho Chi Minh City. According to the investigation, the incident occurred at Dong An Primary School, which has 2 campuses in Tan An quarter, Tan Dong Hiep ward. In which, a school with 5 classrooms is deteriorating.

About 1km away, the main campus with 12 classrooms is not much better. Even the main gate, a row of classrooms with a level 4 house, has been built for a long time.
Notably, there are 4 classrooms behind the level 4 building, classrooms built with iron frames, corrugated iron walls and corrugated iron roofs. The holiday home, dilapidated, makes the space stuffy. Each room has 6 fans and quite weak electric lights. These are classrooms of grade 4 with about 160 students.

Mr. N.D.H - the parent of a student said: "Students have to study in corrugated iron classes, which is very disadvantageous for teachers and students. Parents have no other choice because they have to let their children study on the right route".
Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tai - Principal of Dong An Primary School confirmed the above situation. Mr. Tai said that he had just received a delegation from the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City for the survey.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Tan Dong Hiep Ward Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City said that he had also grasped information about the situation of classrooms at Dong An Primary School. Before the merger, Di An city, Binh Duong province (formerly) had taken over and implemented a project to invest in building a new facility for Dong An Primary School.
"Seeing them study like that makes me feel sorry. When Tan Dong Hiep ward was newly established, the locality reviewed and found that building a new facility for Dong An Primary School was a very urgent need. Currently, there is a project, the ward hopes to start construction this year" - said the leader of the Tan Dong Hiep Ward Party Committee.

According to the leader of the Tan Dong Hiep Ward Party Committee, due to the rapid increase in the number of students, Tan An Primary School's facilities are still limited, and other schools are relatively spacious and stable.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huy - Chairman of Tan Dong Hiep Ward People's Committee added that this afternoon, the leaders of the Ward People's Committee will organize a field survey to have immediate and long-term measures to improve learning conditions for students.
