After the virtual screening period, from 5:00 p.m. on August 17 to 5:00 p.m. on August 19, universities across the country will announce benchmark scores and admission lists to candidates, including military schools and academies.
In 2024, military schools and academies will organize enrollment for a total of 5,212 candidates according to 4 methods including:
- Direct admission, priority admission and admission of excellent high school students;
- Consider the competency assessment test scores organized by Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University;
- Examination of high school academic results (review of transcripts);
- Admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam.
This is the first year military schools organize enrollment using early admission methods. The target for early admission is 2,191 candidates, but only about 950 candidates are eligible to be admitted. The remaining targets will be converted to the method of considering high school graduation exam scores in 2024.

No later than 5:00 p.m. on August 19, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of benchmark scores and first round admission results.
Before 5:00 p.m. on August 27, candidates confirm admission online for phase 1.
From August 28, schools will announce additional enrollment. From September to December 2024, schools will conduct admission for the next batches and update the list of successful candidates and enroll in accordance with regulations.
