In a recent interview with Lao Dong Newspaper, Deputy Director in charge of Hue University Bui Van Loi said that after the Director of Hue University was involved in labor relations, the Hue University Council assigned Dr. Bui Van Loi to hold the position of Deputy Director in charge of Hue University until a new decision was made.
Dr. Bui Van Loi said that after the Tet holiday, Hue University will focus all resources to solve urgent tasks such as implementing a plan to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of Hue University and its member units, affiliated and affiliated units. The authorities also continue to implement the project to develop Hue University into a National University and related projects. Currently, Hue University's enrollment and training work is still taking place normally.
Regarding the time of perfecting the Board of Directors, Dr. Bui Van Loi said that the Investigation Police Agency is currently investigating the case related to the Director of Hue University. When the investigation and trial process is completed, the Ministry of Education and Training and competent authorities will conduct the consolidation of the Board of Directors in accordance with regulations.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on January 18, the Investigation Police Agency of Hue City Police issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Associate Professor, Dr. Le Anh Phuong - Director of Hue University - for the crime of "abusing position and power to appropriate property" under Clause 3, Article 355 of the Penal Code.
