On the morning of January 20, Mr. Nauka Jotham Napat - Prime Minister of the Republic of Vanuatu, along with his wife and high-level delegation, visited and worked at Nha Trang University, within the framework of an official visit to Vietnam.


According to Nha Trang University, the visit is of great foreign policy significance, and also demonstrates the concern of the Government of Vanuatu for the field of education, the development of young human resources and the Vanuatu student community studying in Vietnam.
The activity takes place in the context of the cooperative relationship between Nha Trang University and Vanuatu partners in the period 2024-2026 with many positive changes.
The two sides have strengthened the connection between educational management agencies and diplomatic missions of Vanuatu and implemented many practical coordination contents.
In the field of training, in 2025, Nha Trang University admitted 12 Vanuatu students of course 67 (2025-2029), studying in the school's strength training majors. This is considered a prominent result in educational cooperation between the two sides in the past time.
Within the framework of the visit, the Prime Minister of Vanuatu and the working delegation visited the dormitory for Vanuatu students, learned about the living, living and studying conditions of the students.
The delegation also visited the Aquarium of Nha Trang University and signed a cooperation message, emphasizing the goal of strengthening coordination for a green, sustainable ocean, based on scientific knowledge and practical actions.
In addition, the Prime Minister of Vanuatu visited the Traditional House and wrote a memorial to the school's Golden Book.
At the working session, leaders of Nha Trang University summarized the cooperation results in the past time and shared cooperation orientations in the coming time.
The school wishes to continue to expand cooperation with Vanuatu partners in the fields of training and student exchange; exchanging officials and lecturers, connecting experts; scientific research and knowledge transfer, especially in the fields of marine science and technology, aquaculture, marine environment, sustainable aquaculture and climate change adaptation in island nations.
