On the afternoon of December 12, the Phu Quy Port Border Guard Station said that 3 workers on fishing boat BTh 85341TS that had been lost since the night of December 11 had been found safe. The fishing boat in distress has also been towed to Phu Quy Island.
Previously, on the evening of December 11, the Phu Quy Port Border Guard Station received a report of not being able to contact the fishing boat BTh 85341TS, with a capacity of 22CV, with 3 workers on board. Usually, this fishing boat returns to the dock at around 5pm.

However, by 7:00 p.m. the same day, the ship had not returned and had lost contact with the captain, causing the family to worry about the ship having an accident at sea. The weather is entering the Northeast monsoon, the sea is rough.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Phu Quy Port Border Guard Station directed the Phu Quy Border Guard Station to urgently inform the vehicles operating near the area to support the search. At the same time, 2 fishing boats of Phu Quy fishermen participated in the search.

After that, the authorities determined that a fishing boat was drifting about 12 nautical miles from Phu Quy Island, suspected to be a fishing boat that had lost contact. The two fishing vessels participating in the search quickly approached the above location and correctly identified the fishing vessel BTh 85341TS.
Through inspection, the fishing boat had a broken rudder, while the communication device on the boat had run out of batteries, making it impossible for crew members to contact the mainland.
All 3 workers on the ship are in stable health condition.
After that, fishing boat BTh 85341TS was safely towed by support vehicles to Phu Quy Island.
