On April 13, nearly 4,000 5th grade students participated in the survey to assess the capacity of Luong The Vinh Secondary & High School. The survey structure consists of 3 main parts: Vietnamese language thinking, English and logical thinking.
With a total target of 320 for each facility in Cau Giay and Thanh Tri, Ms. Van Quynh Giao - Deputy Principal of Luong The Vinh Secondary & High School said that the organization of survey assessment of capacity is necessary for the admission work to take place smoothly.
According to Quynh Giao, the new point of this year's survey is that the student will take the test on the computer. The school has given free reference sets for parents to guide students to get acquainted on the machine first.
The exam schedule is divided into 4 shifts (2 morning exams and 2 afternoon exams) to ensure the conditions of facilities with the number of candidates attending this year.
"We have contacted other schools to ensure the number of computers. For a convenient survey, the school has started preparing questions and training for teachers and students before the 1 -month exam," Quynh Giao said.
Present at the test point, Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Nga (Ha Dong District) said: "The school has instructed the parking space, so the shuttle is quite convenient. The school has prestigious training, developing student skills and good facilities, so I choose for my children to study."
Out of the examination room in an excited mood, Pham Duc Hien - Khuong Dinh Primary School (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi) - predicted that he would get over 9 points.
"Being acquainted with the exam on the computer at home, I have no difficulty. I complete all the Vietnamese and English tests. Particularly for the logical thinking test, I find the last sentence a bit difficult and uncertain" - Duc Hien shared.
Thanks to the advantages of checking on the machine, the school is expected to announce the results after 3-5 days. If the statistics are convenient, the publication time may be earlier and the results will be notified on the school portal.
"The enrollment will take place in accordance with the regulations of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. However, through the results, the school will also calculate the required point level and parents can write the name in advance to reduce the pressure on the children" - Ms. Giao added.
