Tuyen Quang is implementing the construction of 17 Inter-level Boarding Schools (PTNT) for Primary and Secondary Schools (TH & THCS) in border communes. The projects are expected to change the face and improve the quality of education in border areas.
In which, 6 projects were started from the end of December 2025 with a total investment of over 1,300 billion VND in Thanh Thuy, Minh Tan, Pho Bang, Son Vi, Xin Man and Pa Vay Su communes.

PV recorded at the end of May 2026, at the construction site of projects, hundreds of workers and machinery and equipment were mobilized to speed up progress.
At the Minh Tan Inter-level Primary & Secondary School project, more than 400 workers are continuously working in shifts.
All 15/15 main items have been deployed, the completed volume reached about 65%.
And at Thanh Thuy Inter-level Primary & Secondary School, 10/10 building blocks have been simultaneously constructed, the progress has reached about 65%, with about 300 workers.
Mr. Dinh Trung Hai - Construction Commander of Thanh Thuy School said that the unit is mobilizing maximum manpower and machinery, organizing 3 shifts, 4 teams, taking advantage of each day to accelerate progress. Striving to complete the project on schedule, ensuring quality and safety.

Similarly, the schools of Pho Bang, Son Vi, Xin Man and Pa Vay Su are also being accelerated.
Pho Bang School has fully implemented 16 items, including 5 renovation items and 11 new construction items, reaching more than 35% of the volume.
Truong Son Vi reached over 40%; Xin Man reached over 35%; Pa Vay Su alone reached nearly 55% of the construction volume.
In parallel with 6 schools starting construction in 2025, Tuyen Quang is also accelerating the deployment of 11 inter-level boarding schools phase 2 in the communes: Ban May, Thang Tin, Lao Chai, Tung Vai, Nghia Thuan, Can Ty, Bach Dich, Thang Mo, Sa Phin, Lung Cu and Dong Van.
To date, 10/11 projects have submitted feasibility study reports for appraisal. In which Dong Van School has been approved for the project by the Provincial People's Committee.
Site clearance and bomb and mine clearance work are being deployed synchronously. Hundreds of households receive compensation and relocate to give way to the project.

Regarding the implementation of border school projects, Ms. Vuong Ngoc Ha - Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee said that to ensure that border schools are put into synchronous and effective operation after construction, the Provincial People's Committee has established 3 specialized working groups.
Task Force No. 1 focuses on directing, removing difficulties, and accelerating construction progress. Task Force No. 2 reviews and builds a management apparatus, arranges a team of teachers to ensure quality and suit the characteristics of the border area.
Regarding the procurement of equipment, Task Force No. 3 is assigned to direct localities to carefully review actual needs, prioritize the procurement of appropriate equipment, and avoid waste.
The locality also encourages promoting socialization for items outside the investment portfolio to improve learning and living conditions for students.
