Dr. Tra Giang quits UMT after being suspended

Chân Phúc |

Dr. Nguyen Tra Giang has officially resigned from Ho Chi Minh City University of Management and Technology (UMT) since February 10.

On February 11, speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of Ho Chi Minh City University of Management and Technology said that since February 10, Ms. Nguyen Tra Giang no longer works or holds the position of lecturer and Director of the Institute of Sports Science and Management at the school.

Previously, on January 6, Ho Chi Minh City University of Management and Technology also decided to temporarily suspend Ms. Nguyen Tra Giang from work and position. The suspension period is from January 7 to January 21.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Management and Technology said the reason for the temporary suspension was because the school received many complaints from individuals about Dr. Nguyen Tra Giang. The school needs to verify and clarify related issues.

Previously, on November 24, 2011, Dr. Nguyen Tra Giang launched the book A Unified System Fitness Design (USFD).

However, immediately after that, Mr. Oliver Napila Gomez (Philippines) - co-author of the above book sent an email to Ho Chi Minh City University of Management and Technology, and at the same time denounced on social networks that he was the sole author of the manuscript of the book USFD.
