On May 4, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the number of students registered for regular, specialized and integrated grade 10 classes for the 2026-2027 school year in nguyện vọng 1 of high schools.
From here, students can know the competition ratio of each public high school this year and to adjust their aspirations until before 5 pm on May 8.
The adjustment only applies to the order or choice of aspirations, and cannot be new or removed from the exam list.
The number of registered aspirations is as follows:
In the 2026-2027 school year, public high schools enroll more than 118,000 students in grade 10, equivalent to about 70% of students completing the secondary school program.
The exam will take place in two days, January 1-2. 6. Candidates take three compulsory subjects including Literature, Mathematics and Foreign Language; in cases of registering for specialized or integrated classes, they will take additional subjects accordingly.
