Many parents who let their children study at the Chau English Center (Kha Van Can facility, Linh Tay ward, Thu Duc city) are restless as for many days now, this center has suddenly closed, parents and staff cannot contact the center director.
Ms. Bao Tram said that her child had only studied for 2 sessions when the center was closed. Before that, Ms. Tram had paid nearly 17 million VND in tuition fees.
Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Hoang, another parent, said he paid 30 million VND for his child to study at the center for 30 months. However, my child has only studied 3 sessions.
Mr. Hoang said that when he came to register for study and was consulted by the staff, if he completed the entire long-term course, the tuition fee would be reduced.
"Knowing that this center has been operating for many years, seeing nothing happened, I decided to close because I also wanted my child to study long-term. But yesterday, the center staff sent a message to the shared Zalo group, informing them that they could not contact the director," said Mr. Hoang.
On May 8, the center's staff suddenly received a notice from the director that they would temporarily stop teaching for 1 week.
The next day, the center's staff could not contact the director and discovered that the websites and Facebook of the Australia Center English system were all deleted.
On May 15, employees were still unable to contact the director. Suspecting something had happened, the staff sent a notice to the parents to find a solution to ensure their rights.
Currently, the official website of the Australia Council English Center system is not working and only displays the contact information of the owner of the domain name.
The Chau English Center system is under Duy Khang Education - Training Company Limited, directed by Mr. Ho Dang Duy since it began operating in 2007. The company's headquarters is located at 182-184-186 Le Van Viet (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City).
