In 2026, the University of Information Technology is expected to enroll students by 2 methods.
Method 1: Direct admission according to the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Method 2: General admission is performed according to the formula:
Admission score = Hs1 x THPT + Hs2 x ĐGNL + Hs3 x HB + Bonus points (if any) + Priority points (if any).
The admission score is calculated on a scale of 100 points, the maximum level is 100 points.
The school requires a floor score for candidates using the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam to have a total of three subjects from 20 or more. For the Microchip Design major, the condition is a score of three subjects in the top 25% nationwide, of which the Math score is in the top 20%, according to data from the Ministry of Education and Training.
With the results of the competency assessment (CC) exam organized by VNU-HCM, the total exam score reaches a minimum of 600 points for all majors. For the Microchip Design major, candidates must be in the group of 20% of candidates with the highest score in Math in the CC exam.
With international certificates, it is necessary to simultaneously meet the following conditions: Having A-Level from B or higher in each subject; or International Baccalaureate (IB) from 30 points or higher, or the total high school graduation exam score in 2026 according to the admission combination must be at least 20 points.
