Some universities plan to reserve 60-65% of their total enrollment quota for high school transcript review.

Considering high school transcripts for university admission is an admission method that receives much attention from students because it is compact, convenient, and cost-effective, especially reducing exam pressure.

Many students shared that they had prepared for this method since their early years of high school by trying to get good grades and participating in extracurricular activities.

"In the context of educational program innovation, high school graduation exams tend to be clearly differentiated, I feel that my path to university will face many difficulties. Therefore, right from grade 10, I created more opportunities for myself by preparing a good academic record.

For me, this is a pretty good backup plan, creating a sense of security. It is also a motivation for me to complete the curriculum well - the perfect springboard for the high school graduation exam. Because only by learning well the knowledge in class can I do well on the exam according to the new curriculum" - shared Nhu Quynh - a 12th grade student at Dong Son 2 High School (Thanh Hoa).

According to an update from Lao Dong Newspaper, more than 30 schools have announced their 2025 enrollment plans, many of which use the method of considering academic records.

In 2025, Gia Dinh University plans to reserve 65% of its enrollment quota for considering transcripts. Based on the draft regulations, the school will use the results of the semesters in grades 11 and 12.

In 2025, Cuu Long University will enroll students in 3 ways: Considering high school graduation exam scores; Considering high school transcripts; Considering academic results from intermediate level and above.

Of which, the method of considering academic records accounts for 60% of the total enrollment target. In this method, the school uses the average score of the entire 12th grade year of the combination of 3 subjects for admission according to the regulations in the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Yersin University Dalat plans to reserve 35 - 40% of its enrollment quota for high school transcript review.
