On June 20, the University of Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City announced the official enrollment information for 2025.
This year, the school plans to enroll 4,455 students for 31 majors and groups of majors in the standard programs, English enhancement programs and advanced programs according to 3 admission methods:
Method 1: Direct admission, priority admission according to the regular university admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Priority admission is given to direct admission, priority admission is given to the regulations of VNU-HCM; Admission is based on the results of international foreign language certificates (English) combined with high school academic results for advanced programs and English-language enhanced programs.
Method 2: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
Method 3: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by VNU-HCM in 2025.
The University of Natural Sciences applies the conversion of TOEFL iBT/I IELTS foreign language certificates for the method of using the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
If the conversion score of the English certificate is higher than the 2025 high school exam score for English, the conversion score will be used to replace the English score of the candidate.
The school noted that all international English language certificates (TOEFL iBT or IELTS) are only converted to English subject scores (for admission based on the results of international foreign language certificates (English) combined with high school learning results and the method of considering high school graduation exam results) when candidates submit evidence to the school according to the prescribed time, before July 30.
For method 2, the international English language certificate (TOEFL iBT or IELTS) is converted from level 4.5.

Tuition fees for the first year range from 28.4 million to 67 million VND/year, depending on the major and training program. Of which, the Computer Science major (Advanced Program) has the highest tuition fee. Roadmap for increasing tuition fees each year.
