Enrollment methods include:
Method 1: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school's own regulations.
Method 2: General admission based on high school academic results, achievements, special aptitudes and English certificates.
Admission conditions: Candidates graduating from high school in 2026 and 2025 (with academic results for the whole year of grades 10, 11, 12 being from good or higher).
The admission score is calculated by the total converted score according to the subject combination of 3 years of grades 10, 11, 12 plus the converted score according to other criteria (if any) and the total converted priority score (if any). The priority score for subjects and areas is converted according to a scale of 150.
Converted score according to subject combination of 3 school years = Converted score (average score according to grade 10 combination) + Converted score (average score according to grade 11 combination) + Converted score (average score according to grade 12 combination).
Converted points according to other criteria (if any) = Converted points for international English certificates + Converted points for excellent student selection exams + Converted points for specialized/talented schools + Converted points (level of assessment of academic results for the whole year reaching good grades of grades 10, 11, 12).
The school notes that it only accepts VSTEP certificates issued by the Center for Training and Assessment of Foreign Languages - Information Technology of Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking.
Method 3: Admission based on the results of the V-SAT computer-based university entrance exam in 2026.
Admission conditions: for high school graduates from 2024 and earlier, they must have academic results for the whole year of grades 10, 11, 12 reaching 6.5 or higher; for high school graduates in 2025, academic results for the whole year of grades 10, 11, 12 reaching from good or higher.
The admission score is the highest score by subject of the exam sessions in all V-SAT exam organizing units.
Method 4: Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2026.
Method 5: Examining high school transcripts combined with interviews, applied to international regular university programs issued by partners.
For high school graduates from 2024 and earlier, candidates with academic results for the whole year of grades 10, 11, 12 reaching 6.5 or higher; For high school graduates in 2025, academic results for the whole year of grades 10, 11, 12 reaching from good or higher.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking further noted that high school graduates in 2026 registering for admission according to methods 2, 3, 4, 5 must have a total score of 3 subjects in the high school graduation exam (or vocational high school exam for vocational high school students) according to the admission combination of at least 15 points (30 scale).
For law, economic law and economic law majors (partly English), candidates graduating from 2025 or earlier, for method 2 and method 3, the total admission score is at least 18 points (30-point scale).
Combined subjects with Math or Literature must achieve at least 6 points/subject (scale 10; other methods, Math and Literature scores are converted to a scale of 10 respectively).
Entrance thresholds for methods that do not require considering high school graduation exam scores (methods 2, 3): average general academic results are assessed as good (academic ability is ranked from excellent or higher) for the whole 12th grade year (academic results of 2 semesters of the final year for vocational high school and equivalent subjects) and the total score of 3 high school graduation exam subjects according to the admission combination reaches 18 points or higher (admission combinations with Math and Literature, or Math, or Literature must reach at least 6 points or higher (according to the 10-point scale, Math and Literature scores are converted to a corresponding 10-point scale) or high school graduation consideration score (high school graduation exam score) from 8.5 or higher.
High school graduation candidates in 2026: The entrance threshold for the high school graduation exam score method (method 4) will be announced by the school according to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training.
